Our Oxnard Client is a young family looking to generate some income from their first home. They intend to live in the main house and use their soon-to-be converted detached garage as a rental. When the timing is right, their plan is to purchase an additional house to live in while using this first house as a two-rental property.
With local rent for a 1-bedroom averaging [$1,800], our Client will be able to generate at least [$21,600] annually from their new ADU. Once they make their move to a new house and rent out their current 3 bed/2 bath house for the market rate of $3,500+ ($42,000 annual), our Clients will be making $63,600 annually in passive income from two units on a single property!
